The Cheltenham & Gloucester Trail Runners Terms of Membership
We ask that all members read and abide by the club Code of Conduct and Terms of Membership. These important practices are in place to keep members and volunteers safe, and to protect the environments that we run in. Failure to comply could result in termination of membership or prosecution. Code of Conduct

Racism, sexism, prejudice and any other forms of discrimination are not tolerated at C&G Trail Runners.

Sexual harassment, bullying or other forms of harassment are not tolerated at C&G Trail Runners.

Littering, vandalism or distraction of property is not tolerated at C&G Trail Runners.

It is deemed unacceptable to remove anything from the trails. Leave them as you find them.

All club members, volunteers and staff must treat their peers and members of the public with respect.

All club members, volunteers and staff must not attend events if they have tested positive for COVID-19.

All club members, volunteers and staff must not attend events if they are sick or relevantly injured.

All club members, volunteers and staff are responsible for assessing their own ability and should not attend events that they cannot complete.
Terms of Membership

As a member, you understand that there are risks inherent in participating in the Running Club, with running on the streets and in the parks/trails of the United Kingdom.

As a member, you assume all risk and release from any liability (including from negligence) and hold harmless the Cheltenham & Gloucester Trail Runners, volunteers of the club, fellow runners in the club, race directors and event organisers, affiliates and other persons associated with the club.

As a member, you discharge all of the persons and entities mentioned above from any and all claims for personal injury or property damage which you may have or which may hereafter accrue to me as a result of my participation in the Running Club.

As a member, you understand that you are solely responsible for your health and safety and you confirm that you are physically capable of participating in the Running Club.

As a member, you understand that photographs taken on club runs may be used on the Cheltenham & Gloucester Trail Runners website, social media or marketing campaigns. They may also be used by partner companies.

As a member, you understand that failure to act safely may result in you being asked to leave events, or the club.

As a member, you understand that Cheltenham & Gloucester Trail Runners has the right to terminate your membership at any time without warning.

As a member, you understand that membership subscriptions are cancellable at any time (by emailing contact@cheltenhamandgloucestertrailrunners.co.uk), but refunds are not available. It may take up to 14 days for your membership to be cancelled and any billing dates which fall between the date of email and the subsequent 14 day period are still valid.
